A South Florida law practice with a history of putting clients first.
In 1971, Ray C. Osborne, “R.C.” to those close to him, answered the request of an influential local family to provide personal advice and legal counsel and brought his young family to Boca Raton. Prior to this relocation, R.C. had played an integral role in the establishment of the modern Republican Party in the State of Florida, which concluded with his service as the Lt. Governor in the first Republican gubernatorial administration in the State of Florida in the 20th century.
When R.C. moved to Boca Raton, it was a seasonal village by the sea with a small population of year-round residents. Declining many offers of further public service on a broad scale, R.C. stated that his goal was to focus on the individual and their concerns. To this goal, for the remainder of his life, R.C. remained dedicated to establishing a South Florida law practice that provided unparalleled legal representation and advice to the individuals within the South Florida community, and the institutions and entities they have established.
In 1983, R. Brady Osborne, Jr., “Brad” for short, joined the South Florida law practice, following in his uncle’s footsteps. Together he and R.C. began a dynamic and productive partnership that lasted 28 years. Their efforts led the firm to be well-respected among its peers and to have attained the status of “Preeminent,” as determined by Martindale Hubbell, the leading attorney evaluation resource in the country.
Although R.C. passed away in 2011, his principles, imperatives, and philosophies continue to be the North star by which the firm orients all of its attention and activities today.
With an overarching concentration on the needs of the individual client, our South Florida law practice takes great pride in putting people first, whether it be a person of modest means or a large corporate conglomerate. With a majority of the attorneys in the firm being board certified by The Florida Bar in their specific area of expertise, excellence of service continues to be a driving motivator for our South Florida law practice. The spirit of providing legal representation tailored to the individual’s needs was the inspiration for our firm at inception and continues to guide our actions each day since 1971.
